Aston Martin is a British carmaker that is known to most people as providing James Bond’s car of choice. From the iconic DB5 first featured in 1964’s Goldfinger to the concept DB10 that was created specifically for 2015’s Spectre, Aston Martin has made a name for itself as an elegant luxury car brand.
Now, however, it appears as though Aston Martin will not only have the ability to provide 007 with his wheels, but also with his digs. The automaker has partnered with G and G Business Developments to create waterfront luxury condominiums at the mouth of the Miami River. Located at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way, Aston Martin Residences will feature about 390 condominiums offering views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami area.
The Aston Martin design team, which is led by EVP and Chief Creative Office, Marek Reichman, will design the building’s interior spaces. This includes two private lobbies, a two-level fitness center with ocean views, and a full-service spa. In addition to the condominiums, ranging from one to four bedrooms, there will also be seven penthouses and a duplex penthouse, each one with its own private pool and terrace. Revuelta Architecture and Bodas Mian Anger are designing the 66-story, sail-shaped building.
The sales center for the building will open in March 2017 with groundbreaking occurring later in the summer. The project is scheduled to open in 2021.
