TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc. (TLC) is excited to announce that Moye I.T. Consulting, LLC (Moye Consulting) has joined the TLC team, expanding the breadth of its IT and Technology capabilities, as well as its national portfolio. TLC has now added two additional locations by incorporating Moye’s current office in Irving, Texas and expanding west with the Moye location in Los Angeles, California.

Over the past 20 years, Moye Consulting has grown within the architectural/engineering community by providing professional, vendor-neutral services through a dedicated team of highly qualified technical experts and engineers. Jan Moye, PMP, Troy Frain, PSP and Gene Hodson AAIA have joined TLC as Principals of the firm. Mary Anne Perkowski, AIA; Dan LeClair, PE; Tim McCord, PSP; and Whit King, RCDD have joined TLC as Senior Associates.

Luxury hotels lead industry in green accommodations
Results from the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s 2010 Lodging Survey showed that luxury and upper-upscale hotels are most likely to feature green amenities and earn green certifications. Results were tallied from 8,800 respondents, for a very respectable 18% response rate. Questions focused on 14 green-related categories, including allergy-free rooms, water-saving programs, energy management systems, recycling programs, green certification, and green renovation.

Forecast: Existing buildings to earn 50% of green building certifications
