Sartell High School Photo Credit Information: Corey Gaffer
Inspired by Sartell’s historical and contextual landscape, Sartell High School tells a unique story that welcomes students, staff, and visitors to a dynamic and innovative learning environment. The Commons is a catalyst for activity, bringing people together to build a sense of community and promote collaboration. Program areas traditionally pushed to the back of the school are placed adjacent to the commons, and transparency allows students to see and be seen as they ideate, create, and learn. Bridges spanning across the commons act as a transition between general and advanced learning opportunities. Specialized spaces are outfitted with specific technology while remaining flexible for future programmatic needs. Designed in collaboration with IIW-Minnesota. Key Building Team Members: Client: Sartell - Saint Stephen Schools; Partner Design Firm: IIW, PC;; Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing: Design Tree Engineering, Inc.; Structural: IIW, PC; Civil: Design Tree Engineering, Inc.
