Sandy is HDR's health practice leader responsible for the growth and development of client relationships in the Eastern U.S. She is a recognized expert in the planning and design of innovative total health environments with a passion for innovation strategies and collaborative solutions. "As a planner, architect, patient, and health practice leader, I am invested in growing our health practice and working with our team to continue to advance design excellence and innovation." With nearly 30 years of experience working with academic medical centers, community and regional hospitals, ambulatory facilities, rehabilitation and women and children hospitals, Sandy brings a broad national healthcare perspective to her leadership role and deep understand of how to collaborate across expertise to deliver the most advanced and innovative healthcare facilities for our clients. She is board certified by the American College of Healthcare Architects in the specialty of healthcare design and is EDAC accredited in the application of evidence-based design research in the design of physical environments.
