An affordable housing project in Bangor, Maine converted a building at the former Bangor Theological Seminary into a 28-unit housing facility. The project was paid for with the help of tax credits from the federal government as well as stimulus funds. The non-profit group Community Housing of Maine spent the last four years turning the structure into affordable housing for seniors and veterans. It took $6 million to renovate the building. Residents began moving in last week.
