Bradley Lukanic named CannonDesign's CEO

In his new role, Lukanic takes helm of an experienced leadership team crafting and achieving optimal short- and long-term strategies and business outcomes

NEW YORK CITY (July 28, 2016) - CannonDesign’s board of directors unanimously selected Bradley Lukanic, AIA, to lead the global firm as the chief executive officer, effective July 28, 2016. An accomplished designer, award-winning architect and published author, Lukanic also leads the firm’s education practice and has been with the firm since January 2009.

“I believe in CannonDesign and our collective Vision for the future,” said Lukanic. “We have a strong culture of experimentation and innovation. And, as I become the next CEO of CannonDesign, we will build upon that foundation as we partner with our clients and communities to create transformative design solutions that meet their ever increasing challenges. The people I partner with inspire me to do more, to see where and how far we can take this firm together.”

In his new role Lukanic takes helm of an experienced leadership team crafting and achieving optimal short- and long-term strategies and business outcomes. And, in partnership with the board of directors, he is responsible for the firm’s overall success ensuring CannonDesign delivers consistent value to its clients, communities and shareholders. “As a design firm, we are actively shaping the future through creative thinking paired with impactful environments – forming a richer experience for our clients,” adds Lukanic.

Previous CEO Gary Miller will transition to principal and CEO emeritus, providing strategic advice, counsel and industry thought leadership after serving as CannonDesign’s CEO for almost 25 years.
