Bungie, a video game developer known for creating the popular video game franchises Halo and Destiny, has announced the expansion and redesign of its Bellevue, Wash., headquarters.
The NBBJ-designed project will increase the HQ’s footprint from 84,000 sf to more than 208,000 sf to support the growth and development of the company into the future. The new facility will include a reimagining of the Bellevue, Wash.-based studio space to support multiple project teams across multiple game franchises.
The new HQ is centered on collaborative “neighborhoods” that will be designed and built to support “the spirit of deeply integrated creative collaboration that defines Bungie’s success and a hybrid workforce of both remote and on-site staff,” according to a release from Bungie.
In addition to the new HQ space, Bungie is also planning on opening its first international office in Amsterdam. The new office space will be home to the company’s growing Publishing and Marketing Divisions.
The new Bellevue headquarters is slated for completion in Fall 2022.
