February 18, 2009 – Callison announces the promotion of three senior staff members to the role of Principal. They are Matt Billerbeck, Michel Hebrant, AIA and Zivko Penzar, AIA.
Matt Billerbeck has spent nearly 20 years planning and designing retail and mixed-use projects around the world. His expertise includes guiding the design and rollout process for large-scale retail developers domestically and internationally. As the link between the client and design team, Matt ensures a client-driven architecture process so the design team’s agenda is in line with the developer’s agenda. Recent projects include Mussafah Gardens, U.A.E., Sorouh City, Egypt, Al Reem Island, U.A.E., The Shams Marina, U.A.E. and Aqaba Master Plan, Aqaba Jordan.
Michel Hebrant, AIA focuses on the Middle East market sector and is responsible for overseeing the development of projects and relationships with consultants, contractors and government agencies. Precise, careful guidance and the experience of working internationally on many corporate campuses, mixed-use, high-tech, and office developments makes Michel an excellent manager of team and client relationships. Recent projects include Eye Park, U.A.E., Sarab Al Areen, Bahrain, Al Rahji Centre, Saudi Arabia, Grand Heights, Egypt and The Pearl, Qatar.
Zivko Penzar, AIA has led a number of retail, mixed-use and hospitality projects around the world, bringing his unique, poetic and imaginative design approach to each of them. He fully commits to each project, client and design team, where all benefit from his 20-plus years of experience in conceptual design, planning and development. Zivko strives for inspirational excellence, combining the priorities of commercial settings and client’s business needs with strong, authentic contemporary architecture.
