The Central Florida chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council is hosting LEED for Schools, a program that addresses the environmental issues of the construction of Central Florida schools. The LEED for Schools Rating System is a unique way of assessing the design and construction of K-12 schools and measuring their carbon footprint. Institutions can learn how to make their facilities more sustainable at this event. Admission is free to all Central Florida Chapter members but seats are limited. Admission is $10 for non-members.
