Climate change: What’s your AEC firm doing about it?

Climate change: What’s your AEC firm doing about it?

August 11, 2010

Ninety-two percent of respondents to an exclusive Building Design+Construction survey of AEC professionals said their firms have taken at least one internal action to address climate change. Office waste recycling (81%), Energy Star equipment purchasing (61%), and energy-saving lighting (59%) topped the list. What innovations is your firm making to reduce greenhouse gases—in your offices and in your projects? Send an email to BD+C’s Rob Cassidy: rcassidy@reedbusiness.com. These results will be reported in BD+C’s 6th White Paper, “Green Buildings + Climate Change” (Nov 2008).

Q.4: Please indicate what CLIMATE CHANGE PROGRAMS your own firm or organization has established internally and which you plan to implement in the next two years. Click one circle next to each program. If you have no plans to implement a particular program, please click the last circle in the row.
