CM firm Gafcon promotes Ron Takaki to VP/Project Operations
Takaki will provide overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the organization as well as day-to-day leadership and management for all operational functions.
SAN DIEGO – June 20, 2014 – Gafcon, a 25-year construction management firm that provides efficiency in control, compliance and coordination for a wide range of projects, announced today the promotion of Ron Takaki to Vice President of Project Operations.

He holds more than 35 years of experience in leading architectural, engineering and construction teams in large, complex project designs for the educational, government, commercial and residential markets.

As VP of Project Operations, Takaki provides the overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the organization as well as day-to-day leadership and management for all company operations functions. He is also responsible for overall customer satisfaction as well as effectively communicating the corporate goals, philosophy and culture to employees and clients. Â

Takaki is a specialist in “Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design” who is passionate about sustainable design. His educational background includes a B.S. in Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Takaki also completed multiple courses at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. He has been a guest speaker at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Engineering as well as the Ziman Center for Real Estate at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
