Cubellis principals reorganize as CI design

By Jeffrey Yoders | August 11, 2010

Former principals of Cubellis Inc. have formed ci design "with a stellar group of projects in the United States and internationally," states John Larsen who, with Richard Rankin and Christopher Ladd, is leading the architecture and planning firm.

With offices in Baltimore, Boston and Dubai, ci design focuses on a diverse client base of mixed-use, retail, hospitality and residential projects. The firm is dedicated to serving the needs of existing clients while expanding its base. "Due to our strong client relationships and the strength of our team, our clients have remained with us to complete projects and begin work on new ones, which has been great," said Richard Rankin.

"The wind-down of Cubellis Inc., while difficult for us all, has given us an opportunity to continue our practice as an innovative firm that combines the best of our corporate experience with new energy as we look ahead," said Larsen, President/Managing Principal. "And we're fortunate to hit the ground running, with a stellar group of projects both in the United States and globally."

The firm's team has been recognized both nationally and internationally for its unique and innovative architecture and planning, backed by a strong technical expertise and project execution. Clients of ci design's principals include: Majid Al Futtaim Group, The Howard Group, Toyota Motor Sales, Urban Retail Properties, Muller Company, The Hutensky Group, GT Solar, Crosland and River Development.
