This week, Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) announced its 2015 class of LEED Fellows.
The 35 Fellows who will receive the top award from GBCI “are being honored for their outstanding work as LEED professionals and for the significance of their contributions to the green building community at large,” according to a press release.
To earn a selection, LEED Fellows must have 10 or more years of experience in the green building industry and must hold a LEED AP with specialty credential. Then, they are evaluated across multiple LEED rating systems, where leadership, knowledge, and contributions to sustainability and green building are taken into account.
The 2015 LEED Fellows will be honored at the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Washington, D.C., in November.
The full list of Fellows and their firms is available here.
