HCSS Expanding Into New HQ

HCSS Expanding Into New HQ

By Staff | August 11, 2010

Construction software developer HCSS has broken ground on a new, company-owned office building on an 8-acre campus in the Houston suburb of Sugar Land.

Rosenberger Construction of Sugar Land is the contractor for the new building which was designed by Powers Brown Architecture of Houston. HCSS chose the companies for their experience designing and building attractive tilt-wall office buildings.

The facility is planned as a LEED Silver Certified Building with natural light and maximum employee control of lighting and air conditioning. HCSS believes that a healthy work environment will enhance employee comfort and productivity. The one-story, 45,000-square-foot building will allow the company to double its workforce from the current staff of 112 employees to 220. HCSS will move to the new location in August, vacating the Houston office building where it has rented space since 1999.

"While we're happy with our current office space, we feel that the move to this new facility in a smaller community will provide huge benefits for hiring and retaining the employees who will help create and service the software that will help our customers grow their businesses," said Mike Rydin, HCSS president. "Our goal is to attract top talent who will stay with us a long time and provide the best possible service to our customers."

Founded in 1986, HCSS develops HeavyBid® Estimating Software, HeavyJob® Field Management Software, The Dispatcher™ Resource Management Software, FuelerPlus™ Fuel Management Software, Equipment360™ Maintenance Software, and Illuminate™ Data Analytics Software. In addition to high quality software, HCSS provides implementation planning, training and instant 24/7 support.
