 (OMAHA, Neb. – May 5, 2006) – HDR, a leading architectural and engineering consulting firm, has acquired Cochran & Wilken, Inc.(CWI), an engineering and natural resources consulting firm based in Springfield and Murphysboro, Ill. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.Going forward, CWI will conduct business as HDR/CWI.
CWI is a full-service firm providing engineering and scientific services.It also specializes in natural resources and fisheries under the FishPro name throughout the central, southern and eastern United States.HDR acquired Port Orchard, Wash., and Santa Fe, N.M.-based FishPro, Inc. in 2002.

Under the new corporate structure, CWI founders Gary A. Wilken, Lincoln D. Cochran, and Thomas L. Johnson will be vice presidents.
