A new multi-court, 976,000-sf volleyball and basketball facility is set to begin construction in St. Louis’s Chesterfield Valley.
The project will include nine basketball courts that can convert to eighteen volleyball courts, all equipped with Olympic level flooring, professional grade LED lighting, and HD/4K streaming cameras. Other amenities will include a fitness area, multipurpose rooms, spectator seating, lounge areas, and concessions.
The fieldhouse will offer a full range of youth sport services and amenities to develop student athletes. While 80% of the available court time will be used by the primary tenants of High Performance - STL, Stratman Sports, Missouri Phenom Basketball, and CNR Basketball, over 10,000 hours of additional court time will be available per year.
The architect for the project is mw Weber Architects. The general contractor is Keystone Construction Company. Stock & Associates Consulting Engineers is the civil engineer. The project is expected to attract an estimated 900,000 visitors each year. Construction is set to being in fall 2021 with a slated opening in September 2022.
