iSqFt acquires technology and key assets of Plan Express Inc.

August 11, 2010

Today iSqFt, the nation’s leading online preconstruction network, announced it has purchased the technology and key assets of Plan Express, Inc., a partner document-sharing network.

Like iSqFt, Plan Express follows a software-as-service business model, providing a Web-based service that takes advantage of a nationwide network of reprographers, making it a two-click process to get paper or electronic plans to subcontractors in multiple locations, anywhere in the country.

“This [acquisition] is absolutely in keeping with our long-term strategies,” says iSqFt President and CEO Dave Conway. “This will allow us to continue supporting Plan Express’s customers, and also offer our current customers additional benefits as we figure out the best ways to marry the strongest elements of both companies.”

Conway continued, “Our primary interest is in offering our customers and partners more options and superior service, and the assets of Plan Express will let us continue toward that goal. We’re enthusiastic about working with the customers and partners from Plan Express and will look for ways to add new features, functionality, and convenience for our existing customers.”
