The completion of the new seven-story Recreation and Student Center on the St. Louis College of Pharmacy campus marks the end of a two-phase construction project that added over 400,000 sf of space to the college.

Coming right on the heels of the construction of the 213,000-sf Academic and Research Building, the new student center is designed to serve as a hub for students with one-stop access to study space, academic and personal support resources, dining options, and fitness and recreation space.

Included in the new building are a 10,000-sf recreation center, a 350-seat dining hall, and a 220-bed residence hall for first- and second-year students. The new residence hall will double the amount of living space on campus. Because the building also houses the College’s athletic programs, an 1,100-seat competition gymnasium with training facilities, a recreation gym, and a 200-meter track are also included.
