Kaiser Permanente names three finalists in hospital design competition

Three finalists—Aditazz, Gresham, Smith and Parters, and Mazzetti Nash Lipsey Burch—were selected for Kaiser Permanente’s Small Hospital, Big Idea competition. Each firm will receive up to $750,000 to create their winning concepts over the next few months.

Energy-efficient designs and interactive technology for patients are among some of the ideas that caught the judges’ eyes. A design jury selected the finalists last month in San Diego.
