Everett, WA– Providence Regional Medical Center Everett broke ground in late September on a 12-story, 680,000-square-foot medical tower on the current Colby Campus. The tower is part of a $600-million investment by Providence Health and Services. It is the largest in the company's 150-year history and one of the largest private investments ever in this community.
The design of the new 368-bed tower will focus on accommodating state-of-the-art equipment while being adaptable to the changing technology of the future. The facility plan centers on the philosophy of patient and family-centered care with rooms and public areas built to be more convenient, comfortable and private.
The project team includes Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects LLP and contractor M. A. Mortenson.
