Outdoor lodging brand AutoCamp has opened a new camping destination near Utah’s Zion National Park. A 16-acre property, AutoCamp Zion is located between the Virgin River and the desert of Southern Utah.

AutoCamp Zion features a variety of all-season lodgings and amenities, including 72 custom Airstreams, 10 BaseCamps (which add canvas tents to the Airstreams), 9 X suites, and 5 ADA units, as well as the Clubhouse, a feature of every AutoCamp property.

Overseen by design firm HKS, the Clubhouse takes inspiration from both the brand’s midcentury modern aesthetic and the desert landscape. With clean lines, natural materials such as wood and stone, and large expanses of glass, the Clubhouse’s low-slung structure is meant to blend with the surrounding Utah landscape.

Led by Narrative Design Studio, the color palette of the Clubhouse’s interior showcases earthy plaster, bronze tones, and wood. Organic elements such as cork are used on both the walls and furniture, and outdoor pavers clad the large L-shaped bar. The Clubhouse also includes the Kitchen, the hub of AutoCamp’s food and beverage program, and the General Store, which carries local provisions, among other goods.

In addition, AutoCamp Zion offers an all-season pool, indoor and outdoor event spaces, river access, and a communal fire pit. By car, AutoCamp Zion is 2.5 hours from Las Vegas and 4.5 hours from Salt Lake City.

In partnership with Zion National Park Forever Project, the official nonprofit partner of Zion National Park, AutoCamp Zion will donate $1 from every nightly lodging reservation to park projects.
