“In an increasingly competitive market, amenities are often what set multifamily properties apart – and outdoor living in particular has become an essential over the past two years,” said Mitch Slater, president and founder of Danver.
"In addition to the low maintenance, durability, and sophisticated style of our stainless steel portfolio, we’ve committed to tailored offerings like ADA height cabinetry and cost-effective panel systems. We remain focused on streamlining the multifamily design process for AEC professionals while creating meaningful upgrades that benefit condo owners and tenants.”
NEW GAS TIMER SHUT OFF DEVICE
New for 2021, the Gas Timer Shut Off offers an important safety and convenience feature for the multifamily space. Its exterior installation eliminates the need for everyday users to go beneath the grill to adjust the gas, making it easy to lock gas line access behind cabinetry doors while still giving maintenance staff fast access.
Designed to replace a manual shutoff valve and meet local code requirements, this timer is equipped with a safety feature (red knob) that functions as an emergency shutoff. The Gas Timer Shut Off body measures 4 inches high by 2 7/8 inches wide and is installed on the inlet side of any gas appliance. It has two inlet and two outlet gas connections with multiple options for plumbing setup.
MULTIFAMILY SPECIFICATION GUIDE
Also new for 2021, Danver has launched a Multifamily Specification Guide, intended as a tool to save time for designers, builders, and architects creating multifamily projects. Stemming from growing demand from design professionals, the guide provides detail on key multifamily products as well as a range of popular design layouts. The layouts included within this guide reflect successful designs from projects across the U.S. and are meant to be used as building blocks for professionals’ designs, but can be customized to the specific needs of any project.
These latest offerings expand Danver’s focus on the multifamily space, which already includes the widest selection of ADA-height cabinetry in the industry - spanning nearly all cabinets within Danver’s portfolio. Other historic innovations include the Post and Panel System, which provides designers the option to create additional countertop space where storage isn’t needed, and Countertop Extensions - which allow countertops for bar stools or other seating to be placed between stretches of cabinetry.
POWDER COAT FINISHES IN 10 NEW COLORS, INCLUDING 'CHILI' AND 'COTTON CANDY'
As category leaders in powder coat finishes, these robust offerings are offered in a wide variety of colors as well as wood grain and industrial-inspired finishes, providing added durability and style. Powder coat finishes are applied prior to assembly and are available for the exterior or interior of cabinetry – with interior finishes introduced in 2020, and 10 additional colors added to the portfolio in 2021.
The newest powder coated hues – spanning bold hues like a fiery Chili, a crisp Mint and bubbly Cotton Candy and nature-inspired neutrals like a moody Ink blue and sophisticated dark green Chromica Feroe – reveal a growing demand for bolder colors in outdoor living spaces.
