The Competition Pit
Before only two teams are left standing, the competition needs to be winnowed down. When there are multiple teams or competitors playing multiple matches at once, this layout maximizes the amount of gameplay fans can see.
The Main Stage
It has come down to this: Two teams are left to battle it out for the grand prize. Fans want to see every aspect of the game: the competitors, the in-game action, and any relevant peripheral information like maps or inventories. It’s all visible with this layout, with nothing to distract from what’s most important.
The center scoreboard
When the game action on screen is less complex, such as with fighting games, this layout can put the competitors on center stage, literally, and use four large screens to display the game action to the surrounding crowd.
