The Opus Group announced today the completion of construction on a new 250,000-square-foot corporate headquarter campus for Church & Dwight Co., Inc., in Ewing Township, near Princeton, N.J.

The campus includes two 125,000-square-feet Class A, energy-efficient office buildings designed and constructed with sustainable practices and elements and connected to allow for employee engagement. The new headquarters centralizes employees previously housed in four separate buildings.

“It was a pleasure working in partnership with Church & Dwight to bring their vision of a new corporate headquarters to life,” said Dave Menke, senior vice president and general manager of Opus Development Company, L.L.C. “Applying Opus’ design-build approach, we designed and constructed an office complex reflecting Church & Dwight’s primary goal to create a workspace that fosters collaboration while offering employees key amenities like an outdoor dining patio and state-of-the-art conference rooms.”

Founded in 1846, Church & Dwight Co., Inc., manufactures and markets a wide range of personal care, household and specialty products, under the ARM & HAMMER brand name and other trademarks. Church & Dwight has more than 1,000 employees in New Jersey. Approximately 550 of those employees now reside in the new corporate headquarters.

“We’re pleased to have a new home that allows us to consolidate our growing operations in New Jersey,” said James R. Craigie, chairman and chief executive officer of Church & Dwight Co., Inc. “The Opus Group and Founders Properties have created a state-of-the-art campus that will serve our employees, company and community for years to come.”

Construction began in October 2011 and was completed in late 2012. An investment group led by Founders Properties, L.L.C. owns the building under a long-term lease with Church & Dwight.
