RIDGEWOOD, N.J., FEBRUARY 16, 2009 -- Poskanzer Skott Architects, one of northern New Jersey's most prolific architecture and design firms, announced today that renovations and additions to the existing clubhouse and staff quarters located at the Bergen Equestrian Center in Leonia, New Jersey are currently under way. Larry Skott, AIA, principal and partner at Poskanzer Skott, is leading this project.
"Bergen County has been extremely supportive of the equestrian center's community-based goals and plans, which include riding lessons at Overpeck County Park, summer day camp and after-school programs. The upgraded staff quarters and expanded clubhouse will help to enhance these existing programs," said Skott. "Ultimately, by updating and renovating this space, we aim to deliver on the equestrian center's vision to allow its staff to work more closely with the facility, creating a better workflow between rider and staff. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in such an outstanding project."
Located at 40 Fort Lee Road in Leonia, NJ, the Bergen Equestrian Center has undergone recent renovations in conjunction with RSC Architects. Working as a consultant on this project, Poskanzer Skott Architects will be providing full architectural design services for the expanded clubhouse.
Poskanzer Skott has completed several assignments for Bergen County Improvement Authority, including the Emergency Department renovation at Bergen Regional Medical Center.
