A new $12.4 million Boys & Girls Club of Great St. Louis Teen Center of Excellence is currently under construction in Ferguson, Mo. The Center will offer afterschool and summer programs to kids aged 12 to 18 in the North St. Louis County area.
The 26,856-sf, three-story building will include a nutrition education center, gym, teen lounge, outdoor garden, auditorium, music and art studio, office space, intellectual commons, innovation center, and outdoor basketball and activity court. The facility’s programming will include an emphasis on health and wellness, education and workforce development, STEAM, and leadership and civic engagement.
Arcturis designed the building and KAI Design & Build was selected as the general contractor. Initial groundbreaking was held on Sept. 13.
