Built by Hoar Construction in partnership with KBR, the Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children opened in Birmingham, Ala., last August. The 760,000-sf building is an expansion of the existing Childrens of Alabama pediatric hospital and accommodates families with larger acute care rooms, laundry rooms, and kitchens.
