The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is looking forward to opening their new Chemistry building. The building will serve as a gateway for all STEM and health science related majors, housing the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
The 163,400-sf University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Chemistry building can accommodate 5,000 students and will consist of classrooms, lecture halls, offices and both formal and informal collaboration spaces. The building's design is intended to connect researchers, students, and the UWM community in a common area on campus.
Kahler Slater and Cannon Design are partnering up to design the project, while the general contractor is VJS Construction Services Inc. The project is expected to be completed early 2024.
