In October, Viega LLC appointed long-time employee Dalyn Cantrell as the new vice president of sales and marketing. Cantrell replaced Dave Garlow, who accepted the role as Viega LLC president and CEO earlier in the month.
“Dalyn’s loyalty, industry experience and commitment to excellence make her the clear choice as the next leader of the sales and marketing organization,” Garlow said. “She has demonstrated stellar leadership in all of her roles with Vanguard and Viega and will surely exceed the demands and expectations of her new role.”
Cantrell has more than 30 years of experience in the plumbing and heating industry, beginning her career in 1983 in customer service for Vanguard. Throughout her career at Vanguard, Cantrell worked as a customer service representative, customer service manager, assistant to the national sales manager, director of code services, regional manager and finally national sales manager.
In 2005, when Viega purchased Vanguard, Cantrell moved into the position of director of field sales with responsibilities that included directing and managing eight regional managers and all district managers. In 2007, Cantrell became the director of Viega inside sales where she developed the organization from a vision to more than 20 people to support customers and field sales organizations. At the beginning of 2013, Cantrell also took over the direction of the Viega marketing operations team.
Along with becoming the vice president of sales and marketing for Viega LLC, Cantrell has also stepped into the role of member of the Viega LLC Executive Committee, the company’s eight-member leadership team.
