AIR-SHIELD™ LMP from W. R. MEADOWS®, INC., is a water-based air/liquid moisture barrier that cures to form a tough, seamless, elastomeric membrane.
This barrier has been specifically formulated to act as an air and liquid moisture barrier, allowing vapor to pass through it while being impermeable to liquid water. It may be applied to most common surfaces and integrated into various wall systems. It is suitable for both new construction and retrofit applications.
The barrier exhibits excellent resistance to air leakage and provides an effective barrier to moisture migration, reducing condensation within the wall assembly and increasing efficiency of a building’s mechanical system. As a drainage plane, it prohibits liquid water intrusion into the substrate, if properly applied.
