Global integrated design firm Stantec has been selected by Related Group to provide architectural and engineering services for the new eight-story Manor Miramar multifamily housing community in Miramar, Fla.
Located in the Miramar Town Center at 1 Main Street, the project will include 393 high-end residential units, 28,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, and a 650-space parking garage. Construction is scheduled to begin later this year.
“The residential complex will be an important component of the city of Miramar’s master plan to transform the Miramar Town Center into a true hub for the community,” said Christina Villa, Senior Associate and Project Manager with Stantec’s Miami office. “The building’s design will complement the area’s existing Mediterranean style of architecture and the city’s vision of a vibrant main street with promenades and retail shops.”

MEDITERRANEAN-INSPIRED DESIGN
Manor Miramar will feature a sophisticated Mediterranean-inspired design with arched windows and terracotta barreled tiled roofing. The building’s main entrance will have a dedicated porte-cochere adjacent to a landscaped plaza with paved pathways and benches. The perimeter of the building’s ground floor features arched covered walkways with large windows to attract passersby to the various residential amenity spaces, including a bowling alley, game room, fitness center, spa, dining areas, and retail stores.
The residences include studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 420 square feet to 1,600 square feet. It will also include seven two-story, three-bedroom units with private terraces facing the interior courtyard and pool.
Residents of Manor Miramar will be within walking distance to many of the city’s significant landmarks located within the Miramar Town Center, including city hall, the cultural arts center, library, an education facility, and a transit hub.
