Building Design+ Construction Executive Editor Robert Cassidy will moderate a panel of experts at SMPS Chicago's October 14, 2020, Zoom event (11:45am to 1:15pm CT), "How the Covid-19 Pandemic Will Change the Built Environment."
Whether it is the economy, education or the workplace, the uncertainty that the pandemic continues to cause may impact the world for years to come. The built environment is not isolated from the pandemic and has left many questioning how planning and design trends will be affected in the coming years.
Among the topics the SMPS Chicago panel of presenters will address:
- How do you plan a city or new development that factors in social distancing requirements?
- When or will people return to the office environment?
- Will the open office concept become a thing of the past?
