Tetra 4D™ announced the Labs Edition of 3D PDF Converterfor Revit. The new software enables Revit users to publish rich, interactive 3D PDFs directly from Autodesk Revit.
3D PDF Converterfor Revit will enable the capabilities within the free Adobe Reader, allowing anyone to view, measure, markup, and comment on both 2D and 3D data contained in a single 3D PDF file. The interactive 3D collaboration and review capabilities enabled by Tetra 4D increases productivity and saves time by allowing ubiquitous access by any stakeholder in the design or construction of a building.
Revit Architecture is an advanced, 3D parametric-based system for defining and creating buildings. Currently, sharing interactive 3D models is restricted to those who have a Revit license or have access to proprietary viewers.
3D PDF Converter for Revit is being released as a labs product to a limited number of applicants. Tetra is looking for Revit users who are willing to provide feedback for the final version of the product. To apply, please follow this link: http://www.tetra4d.com/revit-pre-release-program. BD+C
