SolarWing recently installed its pre-fab, solar covered parking product at the City of Phoenix Burton Barr Library in downtown Phoenix. Forty-two SolarWings are now generating power which is off-setting energy costs for the central library.
The design features a canopy system that includes a sandwich of solar panels and LED lighting. Each contains twice as many solar panels as traditional solar parking and can be positioned to optimize the sun’s power. Due to the design, it can capture more energy and put it back into the grid, reducing an owner's annual electric bill. The design also provides carbon off-sets. BD+C
