SEGMENT #1

COVID-19 Signage Design and Wayfinding 
BD+C's Robert Cassidy chats with David Bailey, AIA, Principal with Hastings Architecture, Nashville, Tenn., about improved signage and wayfinding for the COVID-19 pandemic. Bailey will show examples of bad signage that has sprung up, and how Hastings Architecture has designed new signs that use graphics and text to provide better information and clearer direction to the public.

 

 

SEGMENT #2

AI for Construction Scheduling
BD+C's David Barista speaks with Rene Morkos, PhD, Founder of ALICE Technologies, and Mike MacBean, Director of Preconstruction with San Francisco-based GC Build Group, about applications for the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools for optimizing the construction scheduling process. Build Group is piloting the ALICE platform on the 5M mega project in San Francisco.

 

 

SEGMENT #3

Omniverse: A Collaborative Platform to Simulate Reality
John Caulfield speaks with Richard Kerris, GM of Media and Entertainment for Nvidia, and Robert Cervellione, Design Technology Manager with Woods Bagot, about Omniverse, Nvidia's 3D simulation platform that allows users to collaborate with multiple pieces of software.
